I love the use of line work used to represent the wrinkles in his forehead and overall color tone. I also think the highlights on his face really work and make the image pop more.
This looks like something that Cartoon Network would put into one of its new shows. The monkey does totally insidious, and that works well, I almost want him to throwing gang signs at me just really hammer the point home. Very well done.
Very red. Although this is my favorite color I would have chosen an earthier red than the one you chose. If you added muscle strands and tendons it would be as if the monkey had been skinned.

ReplyDeleteThis is good. I'm glad you went with a blue background. It would have been good to see some grittiness in the background though.

ReplyDeleteThe concept is interesting. The colors for the monkey almost seem a bit too bright, like someone dumped a bucket of stop sign red paint on him.
