Great work on the human figures, the half-naked women turned out very good. However, I would have liked you to go more opposite of the genre. The source material is too close to your new genres.
LOL so awesome! The last ones pretty hilarious I'd have to say my favorite one design wise is the middle one, the colors and composition works really well! Very nice!
Excellent job. I really think the Sex Ed version is hilarious! Also, I'm glad the physical details on the girl's body in the third one are sort of hard to make out. I don't know if that was a style preference or a taste one, but I'm glad you chose to show some restraint(Pun SO not intended)there. You have great illustration style and technique!
Totally get the relationship to the book.. :) My favorite is the Alien Sci-Fi spin, I saw you working on this one, you should have left the Alien looking over her on the table.. just an opinion, but I like all your covers and can see the genre shift..Good work…!
I chose to take it out because the photo would be too wide and i didn't want the image to be too small on the cover to make it all fit width wise. otherwise i would have liked to keep it too.
The SiFi cover works best. I like how you incorporated aliens because they say there is actually a species of aliens called "greys". You also put a lot of work into the shading on every object in the scene. Great work!
The bottom one has to be my favorite, but I also really like to color scheme of the second cover; I feel like it fits really well with the genre. Great work on shading!
I gotta admit I was looking forward to seeing these the most just because the sketches where interesting, and you where the only one doing nudity, so taboo. lol. Over all goof work, I only call issue with the third one, and the wired gradients running rampant. Other wise good work.

ReplyDeletevarious sizes of the blob brush in white, then gaussian blur them and place over a black backdrop. real easy and nice effect.
