I used the ellipse tool and the pen tool to create the dart. I used the shape builder tool to combine some of the shapes then used the draw inside tool and blob brush to create the shading and highlights. I used the pen tool to create the piece of paper and then used the type tool the put the words in the turned them into outlines and rotated them to fit the paper.
I then created a new layer to make the dirt for the background. I used the mesh tool to create the blend of colors. I then used the ellipse tool at a reduced opacity to create the damp mark on the ground under the needle.
This is cute, I like that you thought outside the box and didn't just draw a monkey

ReplyDeleteI like the detail put into this, very nicely done, But I do feel that the note may not be needed, I would like to see a version of this on a plain background.
