Project 3B__Vampires

So this is my poster for Roberto's vampires are evil and not attractive poster.  I thought it would be fun to do since I really like drawing them all pretty and good looking. :) Plus what I came up with was pretty anime style so I like how it turned out. Choosing the colors was more of a trial and error kind of thing so I did use one set of complementary colors... everything else was just me messing around with color tones and stuff. The text part took me a bit to decide I wanted it typed but couldn't find any I liked so I opted for just hand writing it myself... I ended up liking this better.

The whole idea was making the vampire look like a vampire but also attractive. Got inspiration from anime characters, and Kpop Idols. I had fun with this project! :)

  4. I love how the colors pop on this poster. I love the hair and the colors you chose for it. It does look really anime and I like anime so that is a win with me. Great job.

  5. Great colors, and style! The line work is very interesting, the only thing I'm not sure fits well is the style of the text, it's a little hard to read. Other than that great idea and very anime! :)

  7. The style is amazing and so is your drawing, the idea is clear and it definitely shows that vampires are hot and not weird creepy creatures. Very nice job!

  8. This really sells its elf as being influenced by Japanese art, and it wasn't for the text I feel it would pass for it. So I would suggest either removing the text, or have it translated into Japanese, and use the Kanji to put the text back in, only more fitting.

  9. Great Job! I like how you chose to make the typography read downwards. It fits the style of poster really well. I also like the use of brush stroke, you are improving!
