Poster Project Part B

This project started off with a couple of sketches and then to showing whomever we decided to do our sketches. (Sebastian) After that I basically used the pen tool and the blog brush for the whole design.  I found the text on Dafont and brought it in and then created a logo design similar to the first super mario game.

I think the poster works very well to what I'm trying to convey. "Pro Mario" There's some obvious parts in here that clearly show that, the text and the figures.  I think the lighting also helped show the focus and main ideas.  Some things I'd like to work on next time would be the blank floor space, I tried to get in a couple of textures but couldn't quiet get it to how I wanted it so left it without.

  2. Very cool. I love the date on there it adds so much. I like how simple yet profound it is. We know exactly what has happened and the meaning of the shot. Great job.

  4. This poster is amazing! I love the colors and how it looks so life-like in a cartoon way. It looks like a real Mario poster or the cover of a Mario game box. It all flows together nicely and the text is awesome too.

  6. Really well done, but the had kinda bothers me a bit, but on the other hand your text is starting to come around, it seems that for once it was not an total after thought! much better as a design.

  7. Great Job! The shading is really well done and a great improvement on using illustrator. The composition also works really well for the scenario. I also like how you didn't use an actual gradient for the flooring, doing what you did was a much better choice.
