I chose to do a rebuttal on cupcake wars. I don't think the concept comes across as cupcakes equals junk food or bad eating habits. No text in the image, tried designing the poster in a way that it explains itself. Again, don't think I succeeded at that. But the idea was to have a stomach with a cupcake inside with a skull and spoons.
Used dark colors again to indicate that caution, bad side to it. Not a whole lot of color in this composition. Tried keeping it simple and playful as much as possible.
The cupcake looks great. However, the poster looks finished. Maybe adding further intestines will complete the poster.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, the design is very distinguishable as to who make it, kudos to that. Your style is always great, I think you god the idea across very nicely. The simplicity to it is nice, and nice way of taking up the negative space with texture and not leaving it plain. Maybe one way to execute it better, is to give the stomach the same kind of color as what a stomach would look like, instead of the white? Otherwise I think it looks great.

ReplyDeleteI like the concept and the cupcake with crossbones is a great take on the subject. Although I feel that the white stomach could have a black stroke or a duplicated object slightly shifted one way or another. Otherwise, great work! The texture in the background is different and stands out nicely.
