For my topic of persuasion, chose Volunteering in the Local Community.
I have always noticed that there is a lack of advertisements for volunteering and it's time to fill the void.
1st Concept: War Poster
I wanted to use a triadic color scheme for this poster and use a patriotic message to convince people to volunteer. I wanted to have the feel of a WWII poster that has a grimy look to it; like it has been posted somewhere very harsh.
2nd Concept: Local Movie Theater Poster
For this poster, I was aiming for a poster that you would see on college ad board or plastered on walls/windows. I've been looking for a centralized volunteer organization to add their URL to the poster. I used a complementary color scheme of red and blue for this poster and I think it worked well.
