Book Cover Drafts

These are my ideas.  Using Illustrator and some Photoshop I created these.  Based on the genres; Paranormal Romance, Graphic Novel and Science Fiction.

  1. I like the first one, I like all the different elements within the photo. I like how things are framed, textured and faded.

  3. The first two are really well done but I feel like the last one just doesn't fit as well as the other two as a whole. Maybe just a couple minor design tweaks and I think you'll have three really great pieces! These are awesome!

  4. Neat ideas, I like where the scifi one is going, but not sure if it needs the characters to be so prominent. And the graphic novel version looks really good.

  5. Nice twist on Romeo and Juliet. That silver guy kind of gives me the creeps though.

  7. All three of these are really good ideas. I would personally remove the text at the bottom of the graphic novel; I know most people probably know the story already, but that text basically just tells the entire story in one sentence, and actually pushes me away.

  8. The extreme sci-fi angle for Romeo and Juliet would be great. It seems like a skit they would do on Futurama!

  9. I'm interested to see the science fiction complete it's an interesting concept.

  11. I love the idea for the fantasy cover, the elf ears are a nice touch! The sci-fi concept is very interesting as well. The couple you chose fit in well with the futuristic theme.

  12. Leonardo DiCaprio as Vulcan Romeo is amazing. I like the attention paid to little details like the subtitle.
